Beautiful Demoiselle.



Female Beautiful Demoiselle Calopteryx virgo (I hope) .

Dragonflies and Damselflies I know very little about ...so If I have got it wrong feel free to draw my attention to it.

    Thanks Keith. I never realised how pretty the Damselfly is. Looks like I will be looking more closely at the ponds etc in the future.

    Yes they do. I believe that out of the twenty species of Dragonflies in the Uk only two have coloured wings....so it was a fifty..fifty chance of me getting it right . LOL
