  3. Yes I agree Monts. It was a nice gathering of the clans with a few faces to names and a couple of names to faces. Nice to meet up with everyone.

  4. Hi Thomas.

Yes it was not the easiest of birds to get a good photograph of...the lighting was rather harsh and of course the bird was generally behind twigs or leaves. It has been well photographed in the county. Thanks for leaving a comment.

  5. You really do get some goodies in lovely Cornwall, Trevor! I have just seen it on Monty's site too and as I said to him I had never heard of it before, it must have been very rewarding to see and 'capture'.

Talking of Starlings, (on the earlier post) they are the first thing I hear when I step into the garden at the moment and they devour the food in moments!

  7. Hi Jan.

The Heron was well photographed and most of us I suspect had many poor shots but as you say very rewarding indeed. We have the same scenario...now the youngsters have swelled the numbers in is chaos. Hope you are keeping well.

  8. Hi Paul.

Welcome to the blog. It was nice putting a face to a name. Yes it was rather a hit and miss affair with most of us getting a passable shot or two..not quite up to Steve's standard but I guess we all went away happy.
