Managed to photograph three of the big four at the site today:-
G.S Woodpecker
Jay
Nuthatch.
The one missing was the Green Woodpecker.

Hi Bob. I have never seen one on the ground yet..only in flight.
ReplyDeleteHello Adrian. Yes I suppose it was. The Jay had a twig in front of his face so not the ideal shot..but..they are very wary so you do not get another chance before they are away.

ReplyDeleteWe are entitled to get a few lucky grab shots...the Jay I was not so lucky with.
