I stumbled across the Mipit while I was searching for Ravens and Cuckoos...incidently I saw and photographed both. The one shot I took at one hundred yards or more shows four birds...two I know were the Cuckoos that flew past me...but I am leaning to the fact that the other two were also Cuckoos (two pair) but the photograph as you can imagine at that distance hald held is very poor. I did get a closer image later on and posted it on the staustellbaywatch blog site.
A beautiful image of the Song Thrush, he looks like he's really enjoying itself.
ReplyDeleteThe Song Thrush and the Meadow Pipit are lovely photos. The ST looked to be having a high old time and the MP was posing beautifully for you.
ReplyDeleteHi Bob. The bird was certainly enjoying itself. It continually ducked under and splashed around.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jan.
