Hi Adrian. It was very cold but dry...and absolutely dismal on the birding front. The Stonechat popped up and rescued what would have been a fruitless walk at the Marshes.
I love the Stonechats...they seem to perch right at the top of Gorse or whatever and you end up with a lovely backdrop free of twigs and other off putting stuff. The Blue Tit was on one of those days that things go right or the light is plentiful. Don't get many of them but it is nice when it does happen.
Now, this is sharp, not too much of the falling down water Saturday obviously.
