Great Spotted Woodpecker


Great Spotted Woodecker .......Dendrocopus major
I have broken a few conventional rules to get the Woodpecker in a frame. Whether it works I will leave it up to you to decide.

    That's what rules are for, like the frame. Maybe a bit of a crop from the left hand side.

    Thanks for the comment. Birding is a strange game...I got a better shot of the Woodpecker at thirty yards than the Nuthatch at ten feet.
