They really are the most fascinating looking creatures Trevor! I remember the first time I saw one on somebody's blog a few years ago, apart from her interest in birds she was an artist and I honestly thought, at first, that it was something she had created out of different pieces of felt :) I never tire of looking at them and look forward to seeing one myself before too long.
Did you find him in Whitehall? If so, didn't realise they did birding there?

ReplyDeleteYes they do have that unreal look about them. You will most likely see one when you visit Slimbridge..ours was a wild one so we could tick it.
