Are or were there wolves in the U.K. ?

  8. Yes Keith....there are some very impressive looking birds at Slimbridge. Those in the tropical house were far away the most colourful but...unfortunately our lenses steamed up. Take a compact in if you ever go.

  9. Hi bonequinhoda.
Have paid you a visit.A very intersting piece indeed and a great read. There most certainly were Wolves in the UK but I do not think they are still roaming in the wild now. Probably hunted to extinction. Certainly we have a few packs looked after by professional organizations.
