You're lucky to have a Skylark. I use to have one, but the Lord of the manor, put up a fence that I can't scale. Really good image too; sorry for all the whinging.
Hello Keith. Yes I am in total agreement with you. When I was a child we played over *The Banks* which was a small heathland with a couple of small pools.The Skylark was quite abundant then singing overhead.

What a really beautiful photo, I often see them singing up high on one of our local walks but have not seen one perched like that.

ReplyDeleteIt is unusual to find them perched..I cannot remember it happening before. Shelley is my favorite poet.
