Penrice

Great Spotted Woodpecker ......Dendrocopus major

Pheasant......Phasianus colchicus

Nuthatch....Sitta europaea

Jay.....Garrulus glandarius

Penrice is one of my favourite birding places. Unfortunately most of our visits are done in the evening and at this time of year that means no photographs.
As the evenings get lighter I hope to connect again with all of the above birds that I encountered in 2010.

  5. Greetings Trevor...You have captured stunning shots of these wonderful birds!! I love the slant of the tree on the woodpecker and the brilliant colors throughout! What amazes me about the pheasant is the little flowers surrounding his curious eye...What a magical moment...Cheers, Linda
