  4. That is lovely Trevor and well done on the tick! We had them visiting the garden regularly for a couple of months, about two years ago, during icy weather. Needless to say it was before I had the camera :(

  7. Thanks John. The only other one I have seen was in a huge chaffinch flock a month ago. Therefore I am well pleased to get a close view of one, especially in the garden.

    It is indeed strange how once you have seen a new bird...they crop up everywhere soon after.
    Hope they return this year for you to get that belated garden photograph.
    We are still waiting for the return (hopefully) of our winter visitors.
