Stepping Up

Grey Wagtail .........Motacilla cinerea
Photographed today at the Manoa Valley.

  1. Nice image of the Grey Wagtail Trevor

  2. Good shot. He/she was standing and listening. Heshe has stopped when with its without the tail bobbing about.

  3. Really like this image Abbot - you get the best pose from the subject (must be natural charm).
Grey always seemed a bit of a poor name for this stunner but I suppose yellow had already been taken.

  4. A lovely photo Trevor and I agree with Stuart, I have always thought the name just doesn't do it justice!

Glad you have seen tne Goldcrest again and well done with the two life ticks, needless to say I haven't seen either. I believe there was a Red-necked Grebe at Draycote recently but I wasn't able to get there.
