Marazion Marshes

Stonechat ....Saxicola torquata
Photographed today at a rather quiet Marazion Marshes.

  1. Now, this is sharp, not too much of the falling down water Saturday obviously.

  2. Oooh! Beautiful shot Trevor and of the beautiful little Blue Tit on the last post too.

  3. Hi Keith. Thanks for the comment.

  4. Hi Adrian.
It was very cold but dry...and absolutely dismal on the birding front. The Stonechat popped up and rescued what would have been a fruitless walk at the Marshes.

  5. Hi Jan.

I love the Stonechats...they seem to perch right at the top of Gorse or whatever and you end up with a lovely backdrop free of twigs and other off putting stuff. The Blue Tit was on one of those days that things go right or the light is plentiful. Don't get many of them but it is nice when it does happen.
