  1. Trevor, this is good, little devils. have you sharpened on auto cos it has a wee halo. No worries far better than my Goldcrest.

  2. I knew something was amiss with the shot....I did put it up in a rush and I can see what you mean now. It does look rather blurred and I can see the halo . Seems it not only dodged me ..he also flew under the radar.

  4. That is a good shot! I like to see the bird in context, with (and I know this is well nigh impossible to explain) a bit of the fundamental identity of the bird. You seem to be able to do this. Frame-fillers can be a bit "character-less".

  5. Lovely to see the Chiffchaff Trevor, a nice reminder of Summer as that is the only time I see them.

  7. I agree Stuart ..yet I do favour the close up shots if I can get them. I think as Adrian said on one of my other blogs...you can see a persons own stamp on the way he shows his/her photographs.

  8. We have quite a colony of them in a close location...getting a good photograph is another matter. Another for my must do in the future Jan.

  9. I cant find a lot wrong with that picture - a very difficult species to latch onto with a camera. Looks like an adult.
