Goldcrest ........Regulus regulus
Okay...I know I was not going to post it but I thought it at least shows we sometimes have to shoot in conditions far from ideal. The speed was 1/40 sec at F9 (must have left it on that the last shoot) and the ISO was 3200 and it was hand held. The 80-400mm lens was fully extended.


  1. Trevor you did well. Not that my comments on avian images are worth much.

  2. Well I did not expect to see him when I returned with the camera....let us say I got lucky with a record shot.

  3. I really love these little guys, over here they are called "ESTRELINHA-REAL".

  4. Yes I agree they are indeed cuties. Not easy to photograph well as they are very quick.
