St Austell Baywatch

In future all articles and photographs about the area between Black Head and Gribbin Head (St Austell Bay) will appear on my new blog. http://staustellbaywatch.blogspot.com/

I shall welcome any comments , reports, articles and photographs to do with this area as I try to establish it.
Hopefully we can all run alongside each other in bringing the counties natural history to the attention of others.

Marching

The quickstep duo were taken a few weeks ago at the Par Freshwater Lake.
Yesterdays photograph of the two cygnets or *powder puffs* as I have heard them affectionately referred to was also taken at the Lakeside.

Quiet In The Garden

Very little activity in the garden at the moment. Starlings and Sparrows are the dominant species with the Finches being conspicuous by their absence. I have not seem any Blue Tit youngsters yet and the parents are very spasmodic in their feeder sorties.
We are keeping our fingers crossed.
